Sure, that's analogous, you're just your own processor. Generally speaking we recommend integrations collect card details securely with Elements for the easiest PCI compliance. If you're already PCI compliant and storing card details, you'll need to work with support to get your account set up to send raw card details.

But broadly yes, you can create payment methods in the Stripe API with raw card details, once enable to do so
