what do you mean?
I copied the exact same price ID from the product tab and modify the subcription schedule via API
sub id is sub_1JmcumED5xkfDv2ch6X7Qq0x
Thanks, please bear with me while I pull that up.
ok thanks
Just to clarify, initially you mentioned a Subscription Schedule, but this appears to just be a Subscription. It was the Subscription that you updated?
no, i created a subscription schedule from the subscription and modify the subscription schedule
this the full picture
ignore the right screen please
Okay, I am seeing that history now, apologies for the confusion.
Ah, so for the price that you're changing to, I'm not seeing a 'Price description' for it which I believe is why the UI is falling back to the ID.
ah so the problem is at the price? I will check
I checked on my prices, every price I have has no price description. However, when I was testing on the test mode the text came out fine
Could you elaborate? I believe I see a description for your trial price that has a value of '7 day trial'.
give me a moment
so this is the one I use in the test mode
then I scheduled a sub schedule and it appears fine
there was not any description as well
again, ignore the right screen ๐ dont know whats happening with my print screen
Give me a moment to find the relevant IDs for those. I think you're looking at the Product description rather than the Price description, but let me confirm. (Also I use Alt+Prt Scrn on my Windows machines to only capture the active application, but prefer the new Snip and Sketch when it works)
thanks for the advice, I'll check on the price description as well
no price description as well
alt+prt scrn works thanks haha
Just realized 'Price description' appears twice on that page, that's not confusing at all ๐
Oh wait, multiple prices, disregard
yeah its on different price
So I looked at the prices from your testing, and saw a description on both of those.
I see, my product manager just added a price description as well and it works now
Thanks a lot for your help
Awesome! Glad to hear!
just one more question, sorry its a bit unrelated to the thread but
just to confirm that when the subscription schedule start, it will automatically renew the subscription according to plan? dealing with a very sensitive information here
Apologies for the delay, things suddenly got quite hectic.
Could you rephrase that question and elaborate a bit? You said it's very sensitive so I want to ensure I'm understanding the ask 100% correctly.
so I created a schedule from an existing subscription, then I modify the phase in the subscription schedule (add another phase and modify the current phase end date)
just want to confirm that after the current phase end the schedule will automatically renew according to the phase
am i making sense
Yes, it will update according to the new schedule
And once that schedule's last phase ends, the subscription will remain in that state unless canceled.
