Using quantity seems like the correct approach in that case yes. And when you upgrade/downgrade we calculate the credit/amount owed up to the second, so there shouldn't be more to it

So lets suppose $10, and 15, Oct I upgrade subscription with 2 quantity since have invited a memebr, then I will be immediately billed or upcoming invoice?

we cover this in a lot of details. You can immediately invoice for the price difference with proration_behavior: 'always_invoice' for example
