Hey ๐Ÿ‘‹ that is an interesting one. Allow me a moment to wrap up a train of thought and I'll take a look.

#

Thank you for your patience, currently a customer's timezone can only be set via the Stripe Dashboard.

@short ridge Interesting I thought that everything the dashboard could do on resource, the API could do too but now I will be more careful about that.

Is there other things about managing customers, products, prices and subscriptions resource that slightly differ from the dashboard vs API ?

And about that customer timezone where does this apply (invoice timing generation, does it have impact on webhook event timing ...) ?

Yeah, there are some things that only the dashboard can do. I don't think those are documented unfortunately, so the best way to spot them is like you did with this one. Finding functionality in the dashboard that doesn't have corresponding functions mentioned in the API docs.

I'll need to double check what the timezone impacts.

no problem

hey there!

#

As far as i know this would affect things like invoice date localization (eg, how the exact UTC date is shown), but not any webhook delivery etc

#

Are you encountering any unexpected behaviour around this, or merely curious?

hi @wild perch thanks for the reply. Just being curious as i implement resource from the api step by step.
