wdym by update the payment information? eg: change the credit card on file for a customer?

I’m just trying to add a new card. I lost my old debit card and received a new one from my bank. But in order to do so, I have to enter the full 16-digit number of the old card.

The site directs you to Stripe Support, which directs you to update the payment in the dashboard…which just sends me back to support, and the circle continues so I don’t know what to do.

entering the old card number is meant to verify your identity - if you no longer know the old card number, you'll need to contact support to verify your identity some other way

I did, but the only contact form is for email. There is no chat option and I wasn’t given a timeframe. I contacted to see why my company doesn’t have the “settings” option stated in Stripe support.

So I can’t access any of my money until they reply, eventually? That sucks.

unfortunately, if you don't remember the card number you're trying to change, you'll need to get in touch with a human

this process is to prevent somebody from gaining access to your account illegitimately
