like using the app to sell a subscription to get groceries delivered every month is fine, using the app to sell a skin in a mobile game would probably have to be an IAP

Apple’s developer terms require their In-App Purchase API be used for digital “content, functionality, or services,” such as premium content for your app or subscriptions for digital content. Payments made using the In-App Purchase API are processed by Apple and subject to their transaction fees.

Rip i'm in the case of "premium content", some features are unlocked from subscription

yeah if you're selling a premium feature of the app itself Apple will likely require that to be in in-app-purchase on their system.
