I don't understand what that could mean unfortunately. Can I ask you to explain it differently or with an example? Who is forcing whom?

Well sorry

#

For a direct charge, there are 2 fees : application_fees and stripe_fees

#

In that case, the connect account "supports" the stripe fees

#

We wonder if there is a way to "force" the platform to support theses fees, without using an indirect charge in the Checkout ?

no with direct charges the connected account pays the fee. In that case you, as the platform, take a lower application fee so that you make up for the Stripe fee
Say Stripe takes $3.2 on a $100 charge and you take $5. Instead of taking $5 + $3.2 and leaving the connected account with $91.2, you can take $1.8 as the application fee so that they still net out $95 as expected

In that case, is there a way to know exactly Stripe fees in advance ?

there isn't, you have to do the math yourself right now
