Hi, we would need more diagnosis for this. Does this happen with simulated reader?

When you use the real terminal, was that "discover reader" took long, or "connect reader" took long?

discover reader took 938ms where as connect reader took 26442 ms.

I do not see this issue with the simulated reader. This issue happens only with real readers. I see the same issue in live mode as well as test mode.

it takes 1726 ms for discover reader and 1936ms for connect reader when using the app as angular. But app deployed to ipad via ionic. for discover reader it takes 938ms and connect reader it takes 26442 ms. I hope this answer makes sense.

Do you use our Javascript SDK?

Oh I have found a reported issue that the Javascript SDK doesn't work well with Ionic. Do you see it is working but just with slow connection?

Thanks for the info. That's an internal report from another Merchant, and our Terminal team just confirmed they don't expect it is working.

Do you have another options than Ionic? Or is it critical to your current app to built on Ionic?
