How i see it, is that since I use payment intent. I have to write "price + VAT tax" in the description of the receipt myself manually? That doesnt look very good UI wise for the eye, but it works. I have also manually added a line where it says "price + VAT tax rate of 25 %"

you have to use Checkout or Invoicing/Billing to handle this, that's not possible otherwise

thats the difference with paymentintent and checkout right? as I have understood. That payment is the stripped out version, but the card input stuff, which checkout is the whole UI

Tbh its not bad to make ur own checkout flow, and i have already made it, but I think its bad that u cant connect products and not include even a tax rate. But the tax rate doesnt appear on the receipt. So I have to add that the "price includes VAT tax" in the description of the receipt which looks not so good

@restive wind Is it possible to use ur own email template? I use sendgrid for other stuff, so would be nice to use that tbh

That's fair, but honestly redirects are just extremely common. When you go beyond card payments, most payment methods require a redirect to be authorized.
I do really believe that instead of spending the next month building a payment flow end to end + all the debugging, edge-cases, browser support. mobile browsers, etc. you could use Checkout, be done, and focus on your business

We don't support customizing the email template, but you can definitely disable our emails and then send your own emails!
