Hey 👋 would you be able to share the account ID of the account you created and/or the request ID associated with the request where you created it?

hidden wharf

Sure, gimme a sec

#

I can send you a screenshot too, if you like

#

This address has been prepopulated with the company address rather than the personal address (this is just a test user, btw)

#

However, I'm confident I've set the Address field inside Individual correctly

Apologies for the delay, juggling a couple threads at the moment, please bear with me.

Sure thing!

Ah, I see what you're saying. You're passing in a company and individual address, but the shown form is populating with the company address rather than the individual. Continuing to take a closer look

#

@hidden wharf just out of curiosity, if these are individuals is there a particular reason you're passing a company address for them as well?

Exactly!

These would be sole traders (as opposed to limited companies, for example), so they have a business address and a personal address. This is why I'm populating both. Does this make sense to you?

#

My product manager told me that Stripe told her that the home address for individual (i.e. sole trader) accounts should be their personal address

Could you try creating an account without providing a company address and see if that causes the form to populate with the individual address?

hidden wharf
#

Sure, give me a few minutes

#

So, what happens if I don't set only the individual address (and omit the company address entirely) is that the individual address will show up as the business address and the home address

#

Is this expected?

upper hornet
#

Yes that is expected. Bear with us, just going through the details of the scenario one more time.

#

Thanks for your patience. Typically we don't see a company and individual address passed in for individual accounts. Would you mind syncing with your Stripe contact that you mentioned earlier to confirm this is the right approach for your use case?

Sure, thanks for helping out!
