Subscriptions always created invoices, it's impossible to have invoice not be created

you can disable all emails in the Dashboard for Billing and that's all you should need really

so you are simply trying to ignore a fee, there's a misunderstanding somewhere here
https://stripe.com/billing/pricing that's the pricing for Billing. That's what you pay by using Billing, you don't also pay the extra 0.4% for Invoicing in that flow as far as I know

@grave mason this channel is for developers and code questions. We don't know how pricing works unfortunately. My understanding is that you only pay for the Billing fee and not the Invoicing fee but you need to go back to support and talk to them directly instead https://support.stripe.com/contact/email
