Hey sorry I took a while on this. Unfortunately it does not look like this is settable from Checkout, you will have to set it later if it is not created with the collection_method you want by default

ah ok thank you. the collection_method I need is charge_automatically, I see this is stated as the default. What risk is there of this not becoming the default in future?
Maybe that's hard to answer, but I'm just wondering if given it's the default, if I leave it at that. Before I thought just in case to have it explicit, but maybe not worth it

Good to hear! That should not change from being the default. We do not like to break backwards compatibility
