Express is commonly suitable, and highly recommended unless you specifically want more control.

Thanks @dense isle . Why is Express highly recommended over Custom? Is there significantly more work involved in using Custom? ...and if so, what extra work is required?

Yes, it's more work -- you need to manage the external bank account, payouts, provide your own dashboard for you users etc

#

With Express, Stripe handles those parts of the account relationship

In order for accounts to receive payouts (you paying them) they need external bank accounts. With custom accounts, you need to manage colelcting the bank account details and setting them up via the API

with Express, this is handled by Stripe during the onboarding flow
