@vapid bramble no you can't, you can only send money by having a Stripe account with an attached bank account and creating Payouts on that Stripe account
I see. Thank you! Is there anyway to disable pending money? For us to transfer it right away.
no
to be clear, moving money is highly regulated
you need the account to provide identity verification information(the things you posted in your last thread that you said you don't want to collect), it's required for legal and anti-money-laundering reasons. https://support.stripe.com/questions/know-your-customer-obligations
and as for the pending period, that's part of Stripe's business to protect from risk, all payout processors do this(or they hold a percentage of incoming funds instead)
This is noted
What we will do is
- Pre populate the onboarding user with our database info (User will enter their bank account)
- We will wait 2-3 days business days I think? From pending to available right?
- Then we will trigger payout.
thank you @polar shore
@vapid bramble 1/ is fine yep! 2/ , it depends on the country and other factors : https://stripe.com/docs/payouts#standard-payout-timing 3/ do you really need to do it manually? By default we just payout the money as soon as it's available! You can use manual payouts(https://stripe.com/docs/connect/manual-payouts) if you want to but you don't need to.
@polar shore I see. when the money transferred from pending to available it will automatically triggers payout?
more or less yes!
