In the api docs it says

Occurs X number of days before a subscription is scheduled to create an invoice that is automatically charged—where X is determined by your subscriptions settings.

I wanted to set the X number of days to 30 and 7 (i.e. it fires twice), how do i do that?

I don't really see if there is a way to change that X number

That's not supported -- you pick one of the options in your dashboard settings here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/automatic
