it's just we wanted something that our customers can refer to when they have an issue

like a confirmation number

and so we're like, should we just feed them stripe's invoice number? or should we save it in our database and pass something else instead

the thing i'm paranoid about is that someone may know that it's a stripe id and try to query for stuff on stripe

a Stripe object id isn't really useful unless they have access to your Dashboard (i.e. hacked into your login details) or have your secret key. There are some kinds of information that are accessible via a publishable key - but those aren't sensitive pieces of information
