@covert canopy to test this flow you basically need a "real" connected account, like one you claimed with an email/password and then you log into that account's Dashboard and should be able to verify your email

If the connected account goes through onboarding with connect, would that technically be the same?
Yes it's similar, you still have a login/password and can access that account's Dashboard
