if you go to https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/team, that'll show you a list of users, and one of them should be marked as "Administrator (Owner)"
Rgr. Assuming no one has access to the stripe account at all, what would be the next step?
I know my questions are getting into a security gray area. I don't need access, just the name / email.
You'd need to contact support to work through this -- they can then contact the email address on file for the account.
the easiest thing, though, is if you know at least one of the email accounts used to log into that stripe account
even if you don't have the password any more, you can do a password reset
Hmmm, rgr. This company has an absurd turnover so I think it was someone associated with the company from a couple years ago who's been long-since replaced.
#devlife....
oof
ooc, is this account still actively being used for payments processing? where the money is still flowing into the company's bank account, it's just nobody has the login anymore? or is the account dormant?
Yes, money's still flowing from subscriptions that were setup on a site that is no longer accessible. SO folks are being charged but we have no way of knowing who they are or what they bought....
The site was taken down by the previous dev shop ("From Hell's heart I stab at thee..." - Kahn)
Haha. I've been on the job for a week and change, so hopefully I can get something done before I get fired. But thanks mate, and thanks for the guidance I have next steps.
