Hello! Is this for automatic Payouts specifically?

good question, I'm not entirely sure. We have many connected accounts so I assume some of them can request manual payouts, but I've read that manual payouts cannot be reconciled with the BalanceTransaction endpoint?

is there a better endpoint to reconcile charges for each payout?

That's correct.

No, there isn't.

To answer your original question, to my knowledge automatic Payouts can't be modified/updated in a way that would change what's in them.

Stripe can't reconcile them, you would need to do so on your end.

For example, if there are three $10 payments and you do a manual payout for $15 what's in the payout? $5 from each payment? $10 from one and $5 from another? Something else? There's no way for us to know. 🙂
