hello, how does this work:

the customer who referred receives 4% of the value of the purchase made.
Are you giving some credit balance back to the Customer? A refund? money in their bank account? something else/

It is actually a system of donations for students, if the donor registers through a referral, 4% of the donation amount will have to be transferred to the person who referred him.

I thought about using this https://stripe.com/docs/connect/collect-then-transfer-guide but I don't know if it is the best choice.

Collect payments then pay out

Collect payments from customers and pay them out to sellers or service providers.

yeah so that is a bit complex

you need to make each of your Customers a Connect account, meaning you have to onboard them on to Connect (most likely Connect Express)

then you can use the Destination Charge fund flow to make payments from Customer 1 but also transfer 4% to Customer 2 as part of that payment

I also have Stripe and Plaid integrated for ACH Bank, to do the SPLIT would also be the same process. Is that correct?
