@hollow blade funnily enough (or not), it does invalidate it
those links are one time use. They can only ever be used once. If you load that link and refresh the page, boom invalidated. It's to avoid someone getting their hands on the link and abusing it
oh well someone is definitely making changes to our account it looks like
that's why there's a refresh_url parameter on that API. Because that's where the user will end up if the link is consumed or they refresh the page and such
i just tried to generate a new link again and got a branding error
branding error would be entirely unrelated honestly
its definitely unrelated
but now i cant even generate an account link because of what they did
I don't know what that means, sounds like a separate question. Happy to look into it too but would rather finish the original question first
so I have to figure that out
do you have an example request id I can look at?
let me check the dashboard
req_DJzfSZgqv5bwGv
this one just immediately redirected me after I shared it in slack
I don't follow
but
req_kgtQ8gxtRza8LX worked when i went directly to it
Those links are one-time use, so Slack will "load them" to do a fun rendering in Slack and "consumes" the link yes
ok thanks
Sure!
the branding thing was just someone else messing with stuff so thats a non issue
i told them to stop
anyone can reload that page anyway or change the locale which reloads too, so you need to make sure you handle the refresh_url properly!
