@dark pier no you don't need an Apple Developer account for just Apple Pay on the web

did one of our support team tell you that? If so they're mistaken unfortunately.

No they didn't but even with Web domains set up in Settings > Payment Methods > Apple Pay the Apple Pay buttons aren't showing so I wondered id we needed to complete the iOS certificates bit too

are you viewing the page on Safari with an active Apple Pay wallet?

the buttons only show if you're in a browser where you can actually use them, it's the same requirements as https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button?html-or-react=html#html-js-testing

We are testing an eCommerce web site using iPhone devices and Safari / Chrome

it all used to work fine with the same Stripe account and we didn't even need the "Web domains" section filled in within Settings > Payment Methods > Apple Pay several months ago when we last checked

hard to say more unfortunately without looking at your account/payment page and you also use a Magento plugin I don't know much about unfortunately
