Can you provide more details? What does "not onboard properly" mean?

You set the country when you create the account via the API. If you don't set a country it defaults to your platform's country. Are you setting the country to Germany when you create the account?

Oh, you're using the older URL method and not creating the accounts via the API?

I'm honestly not very familiar with setting the country that way; can you try removing the country setting from the URL all together and see what happens?

@kindred lodge is this a new integration? We usually discourage using OAuth in general now

The idea is that you create the Express account via the API https://stripe.com/docs/api/accounts/create and you set the right capabilities/service agreement and don't pass country and then we show the country dropdown during connect onboarding

yeah basically you want to pass the right capabilities to trigger the same behaviour through OAuth I think
