for a single customer on my platform, I am letting them create multiple stripe connect accounts using a single id
Could you elaborate and provide an example?
One non-profit has 2 causes and since the donations cannot mix, I want them to have 2 connect accounts paying out to 2 different bank accounts. So a donor paying for cause-1 will go to bank account 1 and so on
And what is the "single id"?
Single email id for the non-profit for them to manage all connect accounts
I see. Okie then technically you have 2 separated Connected Accounts. They just happen to have a same email value
I think it's completely fine
Great, so when I create the 2nd connect account using the same customer email, it shortens the onboarding, but the payout account is also duplicated from the first , anything I can do about that?
Because it see the same email ๐ Alright good question. Let me see if there is workaround
Easiest: Go to Dashboard โ Connect โ Onboarding Options โ Networked Onboarding and toggle it OFF. New connected accounts will no longer be offered the "copy existing account" option.
But they have to repeat the onboarding for each?
Every new CA need to be through onboarding process yes
