thanks for your patience - I think the underlying issue is that us_bank_account is not enabled as a capability on connected account acct_1ErXikDDGbuoODRb

Really? That is surprising! Can you see from your end when that connect account lost that capability? I am 99.99% sure it had that capability prior to today...

I'm seeing only one request on this connected account related to capabilities, and only card_payments and acss_debit_payments were requested - https://dashboard.stripe.com/acct_1ErXikDDGbuoODRb/logs/req_RoR7ICkUJz2aKK

OK, I think I may have an idea of what is happening. I think back on May 5th we added on_behalf_of as a prop on our payment_intents . Without that prop, we'd look at the platform capabilities and not the connect-account capabilities for if us_bank_account is allowed. Is that correct?
