The confirmation function requires that the Elements instance that creates and mounts the PaymentElement be in scope and provided when calling the confirm method. I'm not sure you can hoist the confirmation function out of the component and retain that connection.
I've been building a Stripe integration examples site and I was trying to hoist functions out of components but I ran into a lot of failures. I'm using a Vue-based framework with built-in JS router functionality as well.
I wound up keeping the confirmation logic inside the component that creates/mounts the Payment Element

ClientActions run on the client outside of react so I don’t think it’s possible. Anyway I appreciate your response! Thank you
