Hi, it looks like your previous thread was closed due to inactivity.
Referring to my last message โ€” can I confirm you asking why does USB discovery of a Stripe Reader M2 silently time out on this specific device: Pad14,11, iPadOS 26.4.2, build 23E261?

Yes

#

Also, did ever Stripe Terminal SDK supported USB connections? I'm using an old version of the SDK

The Terminal React Native SDK beta.13 (or later) is needed to support USB connections for the Stripe Reader M2 readers. Could you also share with me the terminal reader ID please.

Native iOS

#

Does it support USB?

Not even years ago and was removed?

I'm not sure, would need to check that

sterile hornet

Because in my iOS code I have this

Give me awhile to check

thanks

Hmm..from what I can see, the USB support for M2 readers for iOS is currently a gated feature. Have you contacted Stripe support to join this private preview?

sterile hornet
#

Yes

#

We did in the past

tall kestrel
#

I see, could you share with us your terminal serial ID please

#

either the serial code or you can also share the tmr_ object ID

sterile hornet
#

that should be in the terminal or in dashboard?

tall kestrel
#

You should be able to find both information from the Stripe Dashboard under Terminal > Reader, using the Stripe account connected to the reader

sterile hornet
#

Ok, I just asked my manager

#

Does this conversation will end?
