when you create the Invoice Items, you can directly set an amount and currency. no need to set a Price ID.

The ID of the price object. One of price or price_data is required.

doc says we need to pass price or price_data, and price_data also needs product

I don't understand. can you try creating an invoice item with amount and currency set (no price or price_data). do you get an error?
