The summary is:

The UI and the flow is confusing (and IMO really bad). When you listen specifically to v2 Events for v2 accounts such as v2.core.account.* those are not sent to your "connect and v2 Accounts" endpoint but to the "your account" one

ahh I understand, so that means my webhook destination is just misconfigured due to the fact that I chose "Connected and v2 accounts" instead of "My account" or whatever

I had it poking around using the stripe cli and neither myself nor the AI could figure out the issue!

yeah it's all really new and our docs aren't great for this

I thought I had a good explanation but since it took 2 hours of back and forth with the other dev I think I'm still not there in my explanation of how this works overall 🙁
