To give some context, it is expected that some payment methods requires approval, especially when used in a recurring payment context. The same is documented in Stripe Docs: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/alipay

Okay it looks like this is not a case where recurring payment for Alipay.

From what I can see, your Stripe account Alipay's payment capability is currently under review. Such scenario is not uncommon as payment method partners do also have their own eligibility review: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/alipay#prohibited-business-categories

You will need to contact Stripe Support to get more information about the pending approval as the approval details is something we don't have visibility to.
