Hi! Can I also have a balance transaction object ID that has fee_details? Thanks!

Looking into this.
Still looking. Will come back to you shortly.
Thanks for waiting! I will need to look further into your account for this. I will be dropping you a DM to get your consent.

done
Thanks!
Thank you for waiting! The reason for you not seeing the fee_datails for txn_3T9SflCzh28542mo0T6tvwwb is because you are on a custom pricing where you are billed for Stripe fees asynchronously. So you will have another balance transaction for the fee.
⛔️ Stripe developers have stepped away for a short while
Please leave your questions here, and we’ll respond as soon as we're back! If you need help urgently, you can contact Stripe support for help.
Why is it displayed on the dashboard?
Hi @gusty fractal I'm taking over this thread
Does asynchronous mean that feeDetail will be displayed later?
No, fees won't be presented in txn_3T9SflCzh28542mo0T6tvwwb, basically you'll find the fees in another balance transaction object
Does that mean no transaction fee will be charged for this transaction?
There is a processing fee, it’s just that it won’t be presented in that balance transaction object
Can I check it via the API?
You mean other balances might receive more fees?
No this is not what I said. The processing fee info will be included in a different balance transaction object rather than txn_3T9SflCzh28542mo0T6tvwwb
Give me a sec to find a solution for this
Thanks for waiting. the processing fees will be aggrated to a balance transaction object so you won't be able to tell the exact processing fee for a particular payment, the alternative will be using Report APIs or Sigma to get All Fees report and retrieve fees from the report
Sure, what's the question
Klarna's transaction fee rate is related to the country. Does "country" refer to the user's IP or klarna account?
The 'country' here refers to the location of your Stripe account
thank you
no problem!
Just to confirm, the country of the Stripe account refers to the country of the business entity in the Business settings, not the bank account, right?
Yes you are right
pi_3THIt2EEnphHtGbH1R7jhiUy When testing in the sandbox environment, Klarna shows up when using USD, but does not show when switched to EUR.
EUR is enabled
Since your account is based in US, you can only use USD as the presentment currency for Klarna and support customers in US. https://docs.stripe.com/payments/klarna#cross-border-payments
But we have contacted the Stripe team to open up cross-border payment collection in European countries.
That could be a beta feature that I'm not familair with, can I suggest you to convert this conversation to a support case so that we can continue the discussion through emails?
thank you
