Hi,

We are trying to integrate Managed Payments with Stripe Checkout for subscriptions, but our Checkout Session creation is failing.
Our Dashboard status shows "Ready to use" in the Managed Payments settings, and our products appear eligible.
When creating the Checkout Session, we receive the following error:
Could not create checkout session. Received unknown parameter: managed_payments
We have tested with the following API versions:

•⁠ ⁠⁠ 2025-04-30.preview ⁠
Neither version resolves the issue.
We also enabled tax in the Stripe back office with both automatic and exclusion modes, neither works either.

Could you please confirm the following:

1.⁠ ⁠Whether ⁠ managed_payments ⁠ is currently supported on API version ⁠ 2026-03-04.preview ⁠ for Checkout Sessions.
2.⁠ ⁠Whether our account is fully enabled for this feature in live mode.
3.⁠ ⁠Whether any additional account-level flag is required to use this feature.
4.⁠ ⁠Whether our payload includes any parameters that are incompatible with Managed Payments for Checkout Sessions.

Additionally, it is a requirement for us that the customer field be pre-populated, please confirm this is supported in this context.
If needed, we can provide request IDs and timestamps from our logs.

I do want to flag we can only provide limited support for features not considered Generally Available. Managed Payments is still in a "Preview" state so the assistance we can offer here may be a bit limited. But I'm happy to look at any failing API requests you can share with me

Hello, I'm taking over for my colleague who had to step away. After sharing your problem with the AI assistant and asking to contact support, it should give you a form to create a case which will be reviewed by real humans that can help with issues which require longer and more in depth conversations. I recommend being specific and detailed (e.g. sharing request IDs) to be routed as fast as possible.
