This feature has been requested but so far has not been implemented. Can you share more details about what kind of flow such a feature would enable?

We have customers who have memberships with payment structures like $100/month for the first 6 months, then $200/month ongoing. Many of these customers are choosing PayPal since their API handles this natively at checkout and presents the trial structure correctly to the user during payment, though we’d rather these sites be able to use Stripe as we have a much stronger integration with you all

Okay, thanks for this. I took note of your use case and added it as more examples of how this feature would be useful to Stripe users. I cannot say if/when it will get developed but I recommend subscribing to the Stripe Developer Digest to ensure you are notified of any updates.
