๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to your new thread!

โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! Typically we respond in a few minutes, but sometimes we might take a bit longer if the server is busy or if you have a particularly tricky question.

โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can always start a new thread if you have another question.

๐Ÿ”— This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1485747126486044754

Yes, exactly. I am upgrading to the "Clover" API version.

Thank you for confirming that there isn't a better built-in option right now. However, having to make N+1 API calls just to display a simple list of invoices with their accurate refund statuses is highly problematic for performance and API rate limits.

As a feature request, it would be extremely helpful if the API team could consider either of these two solutions for future updates:

  1. Increasing the expand limit to 5 levels (at least for common paths like data.payments.data.payment.latest_charge).
  2. Even better: exposing a direct payment/refund status directly on the Invoice object itself. Since your internal Dashboard API manages to display this efficiently, having a similar computed property available in the public API would make developer integrations much cleaner and avoid the N+1 issue altogether.

๐Ÿ‘‹ Looks like this a follow up on a previous thread. More than happy to put in that feedback.
