Is there any way to programmatically attach a custom PDF to an Invoice object so it’s visible on the Hosted Invoice Page?

No, I don't think this is possible. AFAIK we do not expose a property on the Invoice API or other methods to allow you to attach a non-Stripe PDF to the Hosted Invoice Page.

Can you describe a bit more about what you are trying to do? What is causing you to generate more than 250 line items per invoice?
