No idea on this honestly, sorry, could you smplify the flow a bit more ?
is this a recurring payments or one time payment ?
This is what I understand the flow to be:
A user begins by setting up their habits, defining a performance threshold %, and choosing a weekly stake amount (any value above £/$/€1).
They then decide whether to be accountable with a partner (invited, random, or matched) or to go solo, and can optionally grant up to three “shadow viewers” access to their progress without financial commitment.
The stake is pre-authorized through the payment processor at the start of the week, and the trader logs their habits daily while the app calculates their performance percentage. At the end of the week, the system automatically checks whether the user met their threshold: if successful, the pre-authorization is voided and no funds are taken; if unsuccessful, the stake is captured.
Where there is no accountability partner, 100% of forfeited funds go to the app; with a partner, 50% goes to the partner if they also met their own threshold, and 50% goes to the app (otherwise the app keeps the full amount).
Partners are connected via a secure in-app chat and can be swapped once every three months, while shadow viewers can monitor progress and chat without sharing stakes. This cycle repeats weekly, with the backend automating stake handling, habit calculations, and fund distributions.
simply its a system for user A to be rewarded if user A sticks to their goals, and user B does not and for user A to be disincentivised to not stick to their goals as they would be financially penalised a monetary amount that can either go to User B as well as our coaching app
