Hi there! Do you see Google Pay on our test page here? If not it could be an issue with a card not being set up on the device, or a browser issue:
https://docs.stripe.com/testing/wallets?ui=embedded-form
Our client is in UK and have linked card to the google pay account yet he is not getting the google pay option.
I didn't get what are you saying exactly
Got it - is it possible to ask your client to view our test page to see if Google Pay shows up there? If it doesn't then it could be an issue with their browser or device
https://docs.stripe.com/testing/wallets?ui=embedded-form
Do you mean it will appear in the attached photo section if the card is linked to the google account?
On that test page it will show up towards the bottom, right above the "Pay" button
Ok means if I have linked my card to google account for eg. abc@gmail.com and I am also viewing the url https://docs.stripe.com/testing/wallets?ui=embedded-form in the chrom of account abc@gmail.com then only the google pay button will be visible. correct?
Yes, right underneath the Pay button that website shows this:
For this integration path, Stripe.js detects and supports the following wallets based on the state of your device.
{
applePay: false
googlePay: true
}
If I view the same page in Safari for example, I would see this:
For this integration path, Stripe.js detects and supports the following wallets based on the state of your device.
{
applePay: true
googlePay: false
}
This is assuming my Chrome browser and device are set up properly for Google Pay, and my Safari browser and device are set up properly for Apple Pay
Ok got it @hard pine , thanks for your prompt response and we really appreciate you quick support.
