Hi there, looking into this now! Off the top of my head, I'm not aware of anything other than the custom_text that you mentioned, but I'll see if there's something I'm not aware of
We really want to try the checkout page to see if it improves conversions but we're not sure if using this is a little disingenuous to users because they don't really see the full price on the next billing term
Confirmed with my team, unfortunately there isn't a way customize that area of the stripe-hosted checkout page
Okay ..thanks... I had an idea but it would mean re-arranging our products and prices where I could actually include the conversion in the product description. That seems like a big change.
for ex, i could make the description "Plus Intro $19.00/mo first month, full price afterward" and if i really broke up our products/prices a bit more I could include the price for the specified term
Does Stripe have a recommendation/guidance in this instance? For example, is it recommended to not use the Stripe checkout page if you use subscription schedules? Because, it all works, it's just not super clear to the user once the link off our site.
I'm not sure if there's specific guidance for this use case, let me look into it though
Checked in with my team, there isn't an obvious solution here. I would say your options are to either make that text clear on your own website before the user gets to the hosted Stripe Checkout, or include the conversion in the product description as you suggested, or not use hosted checkout so you can customize the interface more. Your use case is valid and I agree it should be easier to do this, so I will file internal feedback to the product team
thanks .. I also understand that you don't want people to put anything on the left side so it's clear what a user is purchasing. The best case would be for it to read a subscription schedule and show the phases.
Yeah, makes sense. Can you share your account ID so I can attach it to the feedback?
