hi there, can you tell me more about how you're currently updating tax behavior? do you have an example request ID that shows how you're updating it?

I don't really know how to get that? I am using stripe checkout sessions. Form is submitted to Stripe and then I wait for the webhook events

When session is completed I want to update customer tax information before charge goes through.

ok, there's no way to postpone the charge of a completed Checkout Session, but you can update the customer's tax ID info using this Stripe JS method before checkout is completed https://docs.stripe.com/js/custom_checkout/update_tax_id_info

I'm not sure honestly, you would have to test it out to see if it's triggering the events you're looking for
