I've tested it on my own with test mode or live accounts and I can verify our platform code works. But there's something about this international customer that doesn't
Please look them up by their email per acct_1SIhy8RgmedWP9PJ and see that they do have many accounts on our platform or their own standard accounts. Why won't they show up as selectable to copy business info from for networked onboarding. Or even if we use the oAuth route with API key, that doesn't show a selectable accounts list either
๐ is this a new Platform account by any chance?
our platform account has existed for years
as I understand it their standard account acct_1SIhy8RgmedWP9PJ is newish as in months old
Looking into this,
From my end though it looks like acct_1SIhy8RgmedWP9PJ was actually created in 2015.
Does that factor in why they don't show up as selectable to copy over business info from?
Or any of their accounts. I thought account age is irrelevant
I'm not sure at this point, I would think it's irrelevant, just logging my findings since you mentioned it was only months old.
So for clarity, you have no problem onboarding other standard accounts in live and test mode?
yep, this is the first customer i've come across with issues
i've done extensive testing in test mode and on my own as well to ensure our integration works with networked onboarding and oauth connection with API keys, but been stumped by this
Has it been a while since you used oauth with a standard account?
Nope, i connected several on our platform account in the past month in test mode. At least a couple in live mode
Ok, just to rule this out.
https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/connect/onboarding-options/oauth
Is "Oauth for Stripe Dashboard accounts" toggled on here?
Yes, same for networked onboarding
Appreciated. I know we automatically toggled this off for accounts that weren't using it recently. Just wanted to rule that out.
Trying to replicate on my end. I do see the user has quite a few accounts.
Thank you. Yes, they do. My theory is that might be a factor in why we don't see them as selectable. There might be too many too display. I usually notice that we only display 10 or so
Are they not seeing any of their accounts or just not the one they are hoping to see?
both. but yeah i don't understand why they don't see any accounts
would they need to enable the oauth setting on their own dashboard account? or is it just necessary for us as the platform connection?
I just spun up a brand new account, all default settings and I'm seeing it appeare in the list. I don't think any changes to their account would be required.
mind showing me a screenshot (with private info obfuscated of course)?
Are we able to have the user log in and out of their stripe dashboard before attempting the onboarding flow again?
