Hi there! I can initialize the Connect Documents component just fine, but... there are no docs in there, which makes me feel a little sketchy about sending the work to production.

I don't even know if we generate these documents in testmode; I'm looking through my own connected accounts to see if I can find one that has them. and many of them are years old

Okay, it seems like there might be a private feature for this if you want to pursue getting access to it, which will involve reaching out to support and getting approved/getting instructions

But I understand the perspective that it is weird there is essentially no way to test that embedded component without resorting to livemode

Lets have you create a support ticket at support.stripe.com/contact and tell them you're looking for access to a preview feature for 1099s in testmode and I will concurrently drop a message to James explaining and he can help shepherd it along if needs be

I still use testmode so no judgement
