I’m building a marketplace app called GlamHub, where independent beauty vendors (lash techs, nail techs, makeup artists, etc.) onboard using Stripe Connect and receive payouts directly to their own Stripe accounts.
In test mode, payments work correctly end-to-end. Clients can pay successfully, and funds route to connected accounts as expected.
However, after switching to live mode, client payments are failing or showing as “payment cancelled” during checkout. The issue only occurs in live mode.
I want to confirm:
Whether my Stripe Connect configuration is correct for live payments
If there are additional requirements for connected accounts in live mode (verification, capabilities, bank details, etc.)
Whether the failure is due to account restrictions, missing capabilities, or incorrect API usage
Please let me know what logs or settings I should review to resolve this.

Thanks for demoing the failure. It seems to be happening on the client-side so there are no failed logs for me to inspect. Are you able to share a code snippet?
Also, can you confirm the account ID? The one for the request shared doesn't have any connect accounts.
