Hello, I think this is a better question for our standard support team. They can double check your account config to see why IBP isn't showing up https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true
There isn't a way to request/not request IBP with the API, so my team doesn't know much about this unfortunately.

Got it. Is there anything we need to pass in the payment intent? right now we just passed "link" under payment_method_types

Not as far as I am aware. Once you are enabled, the only requirements I am aware of are that the transaction is < $5000 and that ACH Debits are not included as a valid PM on the intent.
