I'm looking into that error and it seems like it doesn't like the combination of the length of the trial and the backdated start date

#

Subscription current_period_start is in the future

#

This type of request used to work fine in the past and we started seeing this error since Jan 29th

#

Did you change API versions?

mystic osprey
#

I'm using the python sdk version 14.2, we updated the version from 14.1 to 14.2 on Jan 26 but didn't have any issues on that day

#

this is how I'm making the request

#

example of a request ID that succeeded: req_0aFkutCPEUDD0W

#

You are passing a backdated start date that is in the future for the failing request

#

But the ⁨backdate_start_date⁩ is in the past for the successful request

mystic osprey
#

the failing request ⁨req_rbuqQ325TZ8hvw⁩ has ⁨⁨backdate_start_date=1770049794 (Mon Feb 02 2026 16:29:54 GMT+0000)⁩⁩ and the request was made at ⁨Mon Feb 02 2026 17:45:06 GMT+0000⁩, sorry if I'm missing something obvious

rich plaza
#

Yeah that doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm going to flag this failing request internally

mystic osprey
#

thank you

I've flagged this as a bug (since we return a ⁨500⁩ response). Unfortunately, I cannot say when I will hear back from the team. If you want to write in to Support they should be able to find this and communicate any updates on this issue to you.

thank you, can you give me an update on this thread when it gets resolved? Otherwise I'll open a support ticket.

You will need to open a support ticket. We don't keep threads open that long
