Also we use the ConnectPayouts components, could the customer not do it themselves?
As far as I can see the component is only letting you update payout destinations and schedule

no worries, this account is configured with the controller settings rather than account types
and which email exactly are you trying to change?
On their business details, tbh I'm unsure - so I went to see what I could change even
They have been trying to change their payout desitnation
to another USD account
but they cant as there is already a USD account
And the USD option is disabled
we tried adding another account like GBP, make it default, remove old USD, then add new USD and make it default
But they mentioned the details on the account liek the email needs to be changed
I think in the Stripe wizard where you setup accounts and it shows you other accounts connected to an email
They want to use another email for that, not alex@coldiq

Yes must be if that controls which options it shows in the wizard
what does the email has to do with the bank account
me too as I don't personally go through the wizard that much
So when you create a new stripe connect account
it goes into a stripe wizard right
and if you give it your email stripe shows other stripe accounts you have
to help speed up the onboarding process

Are there multiple emails on the account that you can change?
you can't change the owner of the connected account
you can "invite" more people to join the account
I think it's best to reach out to support at this stage https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true since it's not really an integration issue
