Were you trying to use Link instant bank payments? There are transaction limits, outlined here and this payment exceeds those handily

i have ACH Direct Debit enabled on the account
idk how i would enable it on a subscription when selecting the Link payment method
We don't allow Link instant bank payments where ACH Direct Debit is allowed. I don't see ACH debit as an option on the Subscription; I would tend to guess that it is turned on in your default payment method configuration but not your billing payment method configuration
we have it turned off by default for fraud.
So you need to make sure it is turned on in "Billing Payments" or similar
Then I'm not clear on what your question is - could you try rephrasing
if we want to use a payment method, we enable it on the invoice we want to use it
if it's not enabled by default
are you telling me that i have to enable it by default and then when I choose the Link payment method for the subscription it will work?
i just enabled it by default for Billing Payments, but I don't see anything different when selecting Link so I don't know how to tell if it'll work or not

A customer added their bank account via Link so we could do ACH direct debit.
We want to charge that customer $6,930 per month via ACH direct debit. I have enabled ACH direct debit in the Billing Payments.
Nothing looks any different about creating the subscription with ACH direct debit enabled/disabled.
This Customer doesn't have a ACH debit bank account saved already, so that makes sense. Based on the previous example, I assume you're trying to create a Subscription for them in the dashboard and charge them immediately, yes?

I'm not sure. Possibly, but you'd need to ask support about that
