Yeah that seems odd.
Often times, the error is shown based on the response we get from the banks/issuers. Sometimes they send the wrong response code.

Has the customer checked with their bank about a declined payment?

And it happend to more than one customer

3 cases that I'm aware of but probably there is more, but its not a common scenario

1 case used Google Pay and I was assuming it could be a token expiration thing, but 2 of them used no Wallet, one from Visa other from Mastercard.

Gotcha. I would suggest you reach out to our support about that. They're experts on declines and can look into what happened here:

Make sure to include the example PaymentIntents so they can investigate deeply
