since the Checkout Session that will be generated from this PaymentLink will be in subscription mode, you can't remove the subscription and keep a one-off price

I'd like to have one-pay product (not subscription) and add an optional subscription trial

I will escalate this to the product engineering team that works on Checkout. I will see if in the future we can support that type of transactions and what is the best way to do it.
