can?
๐ Sure, just share the URL of the thread with them, and they can join
That should do it, yes
Yes
we use stripe connect but it does not work in real payment
our product is a ticket. user purchase first then redeem within 30 days. so in 20 days we do not know who is the merchant. will this be the problem?
after tried yesterday, we paid 10 SGD. it sits only in our platform stripe account without paying any merchant. and i shows negative balance now
are you still there?
hello?
Apologies for the delay, I see this is related to an earlier thread, so just catching myself up
Ok, so I think your use case does indeed sound like a typical separate charges and transfers (https://docs.stripe.com/connect/separate-charges-and-transfers) case, but you do need to keep a record of the connected acccount that you wish to trasfer to
Yes, that's correct. Are they able to join the discord server at all?
Hi
๐
Hi, I am fixing an issue on our end that is causing this issue, but I noticed application_fee_amount is not available on created transfers. What is your recommended alternative in this case?
Do you have an example of a request you're trying to make where this isn't available?
we have an initial payment made to us, and at a later point this charge may be transfered to a connected account
in this case the fee won't work on the initial payment, and I don't see it under the Transfers API
*using the charge from initial payment as source, transfer to a connected account
Usually the approach is to just reduce the transfer amount by the fee you wish to retain. See for example: https://docs.stripe.com/connect/separate-charges-and-transfers?platform=web&ui=stripe-hosted#collect-fees
ok, thanks
We have another issue with strange payouts on our connected account
the balance in the connected account page is 10 SGD, the amount in the payment is 10 SGD (with no stripe charge apparent), but in the connected account dashboard it is 9.79 SGD
Why is this so?
Can you share the account ID (acct_xxx) of the connected account?
acct_1SqsR9EWVMEeJKuq
Hi Synthrider
ok
Is this the 10 SGD transfer you're referring to? https://dashboard.stripe.com/acct_1SRs1DEmWfRG7G3I/logs/req_26VrtfWvKhHDI1
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
yes
I don't really understand what you're referring to with 9.79 here, then
I would suggest taking this balance/payout/fee question to our support team for guidance, since we focus on integration and SDK questions here
we asked customer service today. they also cannot answer this for one hour
it shouldn't be 9.80
there is no fee cost 0.20
Where are you seeing that, exactly?
