Enabled Allow customers to use saved accounts option in platform account and disabled in connected account
What do you see if this setting is disabled, on both the platform and the connected account?

limber prawn
#

let me check

#

if the setting is disabled in both platform and connected account, I don't see save with link option. It is directly going to success page.

#

But one of our connected account merchant alone wants us to not show save with link option. We don't need to disable this for all the connected accounts by disabling in platform account.

#

OK, got it. So you're using direct charges?

#

Or can you share a Checkout Session ID for the connected account where you're seeing the unwanted behaviour?

limber prawn
#

sure

#

yes, we are using direct charges.

#

acct_19cvX0CORiQuziKu this is the connected account ID. will this be enough for you?

stoic bone
#

So direct charges will use your platform's configuration, which would explain why disabling Link for Financial Connections on your platform means that connected accounts do not see Link during Checkout.

limber prawn
#

so there is no way hide save with link option for selected connected accounts alone without disturbing platform account settings?

stoic bone
#

I believe you would have to use destination charges with the on_behalf_of parameter in order to use the settings of the connected account

limber prawn
#

We want to use direct charges only. We want to disable that save with link option for a merchant alone and not to platform. Is there a way for merchant to control themselves without making changes at platform account level?

stoic bone
#

Unfortunately I don't believe there is, because making direct charges will use the settings from your platform

limber prawn
#

As only one of the merchant wants to disable link option in financial connection flow, we don't want to update at platform level. Is it possible to control at connected account level?

#

So, for direct charges we can only control at platform level and no option to control at connected account level. Is that correct?

stoic bone
#

That's correct
